What women are asking us when they inquire...
The thought of a boudoir session can be scary. When talking to women about their session, I get asked all kinds of questions. So I wanted to compile a list of my 12 most frequently asked questions to give you some insight on preparing for a boudoir experience with me and my team!
Do you share my images?
Our number 1 priority making sure our clients are comfortable, especially with boudoir! It is a life changing experience, but that also makes it nerve wracking! Most ladies come in full of anxiety and fright and for most this is something they have never done before. Sometimes, you are learning how to love your body and you aren’t quite ready to share the images with the world, or sometimes these photos are specifically for your significant other and aren’t for anyone else’s eyes. These are all great reasons for not sharing your photos, and it all depends on your personal preferences! If there are photos that I would like to share, I will ask your permission first, and only share what you are comfortable with! We have many options to our "release" of images that YOU get to choose when you are here in the studio.
Is hair and makeup included?
Hair and makeup is included in all of our boudoir shoots! I think it’s really important for you to feel pampered, and having your hair and makeup done is a great way to do that! Our amazing team can help you complete your look, whether that’s “I just woke up like this” or Full on glam! You can bring any ideas you want for your makeup and we can try to use it for inspiration!
currently I have three ladies on our team that are both very proficient and come with everything they will need for your makeup needs.... Including a lifetime supply of false lashes!
Do you have payment plans?
We offer a few payment options! There is a booking retainer to book your experience, and the balance is due 2 weeks before the date of the experience! Past that, depending on what you invest in for products, yes we do offer a few payment plans! Let's discuss more when you get here!
What type of print products do you have?
We offer a variety of albums and I absolutely love the feel of picking up a physical print, it’s so surreal to see yourself like that! Depending on your collections, our albums are pages from the experience that you'll flip through myself every chance you get. It’s a daily reminder that your self-image has completely changed after experiencing boudoir.
We also have metal prints, as well as glass blocks. .. and one of our most popular products is the 11x17 calendar of your favorite 13 images!
Do you offer digitals?
All of our packages include some sort of print product, but there is also an A La Carte list that you can choose from as well! I take it one step further for you.. Yes, depending on your collection digital is available as an add on.. but also.. We offer a personalized APP for your phone too! That's right an app with just you in it!
Its a gallery that you;'ll love showing off! and yes, you can share that gallery with that certain someone special too!
Where should I buy outfits?
There are a few places to buy outfits from and it depends on what you are getting and the style of your experience! There are quite a bit of places to get your outfits online .... but also remember that we have almost 200 pieces here at the studio you can use free of charge.
Do you Photoshop my images?
I do edit your images for light, exposure, and color balance. I do NOT however edit anything “out” that is permanent! I think it can be damaging to have a boudoir session done, and then edit out parts of yourself that make you who you are! Part of the process of accepting yourself and seeing your beauty also means not photoshopping out parts of yourself you don’t like. If there are parts of yourself that are learning to love and aren’t thrilled about, that is okay! We are skilled in posing and lighting to make you look your absolute best and brings out your shine!
How many outfits should I bring?
this really depends on you! I do recommend 3 to 5 outifts!
Do I have to wear lingerie?
You definitely don’t have to specifically wear lingerie, it depends on your personality! There are a BUNCH of outfit ideas other than lacy little things!
Where is your studio located?
For the past 4 years I have photographed out of my inhome studio in Elyria, OH
Should I get to my experience early?
You should always plan on getting to your experience about 10 minutes early so we can talk about your outfits and colors and make a plan for hair and makeup!
